I just got this beast last night, and it kicks ass. All the forums say it sucks post nerf, but I think it’s perfecly balanced if not a bit op. Avg. speed is about 40 km/h with 55-60 being possible downhill. It has a phenomenal camo value and hits harder than an ABC suspension job. As a side note it has horrible gun arc, so a camo net isn’t viable or needed really.
FIREPOWER
The gun has phenomenal accuracy by any standards, a quick reload for the caliber and stupid amounts of pen (303 with ap), however there are two downsides to the gun, one is that it has very low velocity and it also fires Heat as its premium shell, which is far worse than apcr.
MOBILITY
Mobility is good, it’s the third fastest tier 10 TD and it doesn’t lose out to the Foch or 263 by much.
ARMOR
The armor is acceptable but only just. You’ll get penned by most tier 9s and all tier 10s but its sloped pretty well so you can pull off some fun bounces.
CONCLUSION
Overall it’s a very good sniper best suited as a second line support tank or, towards the end of the game, a heavy assault tank.

Wait, it's accurate? I thought those big Soviet guns are powerful but generally have average accuracy. I've been thinking about going down the Soviet TD line, but I'm not sure if I want to go for the 268, or grind out the apparently terrible line to the 263.

It's really weird, but it's got .33 accuracy. The bl-10 is inaccurate on paper but Stalin will guide your shot for you so whatever

Oh yes, I forgot, that’s Russian accuracy - the bigger the number, the better. It’s why I can one shot KV-1Ses in my KV-2...
